Cons
Some wearers have reported this boots run a size too small but buying them one size bigger usually takes care of this problem. However, the boots have been reported to be a little narrow so if you have wider feet than most people you might want to get a wider size rather than longer.
Also, the stitching around the upper lace hook has been reported to give out if you wear them constantly in extreme terrain such as scree fields. But most boots would have this problem in those conditions.

I bought a pair of Lowa boots for my hike up Mt Washington and allowed enough time to break them in. However, 3 weeks before my trip I experienced unusual pain that was directly attributed to the boots (turned out to be too narrow) so I returned them to REI and asked for a pair that I could break in over a 2 week period; a pair that was wide enough for my feet. They sold me the Vasque Breeze (wide width) and I couldn’t be happier. After a brief break in I wore them 4 hours up and 4.5 hours down the mountain and my feet were never an issue.
